"Home of the Honu"
The Kailua Elementary School, located in the heart of Kailua Town, is within walking distance to many resources; the Kailua Public Library, Kailua District Park & Recreational Center, Police Station, Fire Station and Boys & Girls Windward Clubhouse, and has resources within our own campus.
The Kailua Elementary School is fortunate to be the home of 1 of only 3 Windward Pre-Schools and is the "model" pre-school. 'Ohana (family) and Keiki (child) resources abound; Gifted & Talented, Special Education, Art, Music, P.E., and Library programs, which are available with the support and dedication of key individuals and groups like our PCNC, PTSA, and SCC - just to name a few. In addition, there are a few resources available if you need them by clicking on the Support and Resources drop down menu above.
