Aloha and welcome to the Kailua Elementary School.  We welcome you with Honu Pride!  Here you will find information on joining our 'ohana (family) - the school enrollment form, documents needed and additional information about our district.    

 

We encourage you to fill out the Free or Reduced Lunch application and find out if your family qualifies by clicking on the ezmealapp.com link.  Be sure to get your child's school ID# from the office in order to apply.  You can set up a meal account monitoring system with ezschoolpay.com which allows you to make payments to your child's account online. 

Also, you'll find a list of school supplies needed by grade for your child and the State of Hawai'i DOE School calendar for your reference.

 

To find out if you are in the Kailua Elementary School district, click the school locator button and type in your address.  If you are in the district, the Registration information is below.  If not, the Geographic Exceptions (GE), which allow students to attend school outside of their district - links are below for your information. 

 

Please bring your enrollment form and the following documents with you when registering:

 

• Original Birth Certificate

• Proof of Residency  (A utility bill, rental/lease agreement, mortgage docs)

• Form 14 - Physical and Immunization Records 

  • (Current within one year of admission to school)

• Tuberculosis "TB" Clearance

• Court Documents (if any)

• School Records (if coming from out-of-state or private school) 

• Certificate of Release (if coming from another school)

• Photo ID of the Parent/Guardian enrolling Student
