I'm a mother of three with a background in education and I've spent the last 18 years volunteering in my kid's schools and in their extracurricular activities.

I love being on an elementary school campus because of the excitement for learning that takes place every single day.  I feel strongly about the need for us to support the work of our teachers and our school because our children are our greatest resource.  It has been said that they are our future, but I believe that they are our NOW!  The time and energy that we invest in them now, will pay off greatly in the future as they become leaders, inventors, entrepreneurs and contributing members of our society.  However, there is so much work to be done as parents, as educators, as administrators, and as support for our keiki.  It is so important for us to all work together so that our keiki can grow to be the best that they can be.

Please know that I am here to support the community of Kailua Elementary School.  I'd love to hear from you if you have ideas of how to support this community.  I'd also love to have you join me in any one of the many projects and school events this year.  Feel free to e-mail me anytime or stop in at D-33 most mornings. Or join me for Make it Happen Mondays from 8am-10am on Monday mornings.
