Aloha! Our school library is a place where you learn how to learn. Everyone is encouraged to be curious, make discoveries, and explore ideas.

During weekly library classes, I encourage students to develop their wonderings into project-based learning (PBL) opportunities. Students are encouraged to read books for enjoyment, practice discerning fact versus fiction, and make connections with others in the global community.

Student Voice Student Choice
Our library program encourages students to develop project-based learning (PBL) around topics and activities THEY are interested in.

The ideas are student-driven, but they need a lot of adult support to make it happen.
Parents, please contact Mr. Tanaka so we can support your child's projects
